If you're not on Snapchat already, then stop what you are doing, right now.
No, seriously. Snapchat, whether you like it or not, is the perfect social app to be on if you're a B2C organisation. B2B companies are also taking advantage of this rapidly growing app.
Gone are the times of just Snapchat selfies. Companies are using Snapchat to stay connected with their customers, prospects and provide exclusive content for those followers.
Creating a Snapchat account for your company is a great idea, you can show off exclusive behind-the-scenes content, deals, sneakpeaks etc, but if you've got such a small Snapchat audience then you're doing something wrong.
On my Snapchat, I have over 500 users, now I'm going to give you my top tips on how I gained those.
If you're looking to grow your Snapchat following fairly quickly, then I'd suggest first downloading the Ghostcodes app, available on both Apple and Android. This app allows you to upload your Snapchat code and tag yourself under specific categories.
The good thing about this app is that there are various categories to choose from which include Viral Stars, Sports, Comedians, Fitness, Brands, Music, Storytellers, Entrepreneurs, Inspirational and plenty more!
You can then add specific "interests" to help others find your profile. Here's what my Ghostcode
profile looks like.
When you visit a ghostcode profile, you are given various options. You can download the user's Snapchat code, give "Kudos"and also check out their social media they have linked on the profile.
This is perfect for gaining new followers that will be interested in the specific content you intend to post.
One of the best and fastest ways to gain new followers on your Snapchat is by downloading and sharing your Snapchat code. Share it on your social media networks, send it your colleagues, friends etc. All they have to do with the code is download it, head over to their Snapchat and scan it. Boom, they'll then have the option to add you.
I've seen many people feature their Snapchat code on their blogs, using it as their Twitter profile image etc. Those a great methods to gain more followers on the social app.
Whilst it's good to share your Snapchat code, it's also very handy and quick for people to add you via Snapchat's add friend link. Every Snapchat account will have a link that allows people to add you when they click on it. To grab your link open Snapchat and scroll down so you see the option "Add Friends", click on that then click on "Share Username". You should see the option "Copy" if you click that you'll have the following message copied:
"Add me on Snapchat! Username: your_username https://www.snapchat.com/add/*your_username* for example, my Snapchat link is https://www.snapchat.com/add/mynamesgareth
The good thing about this is that you can place the link anywhere. Whether you want to just post it to your social channels is up to you, and that's a good idea to start with, but you could also place it in your email signature, send it to your colleagues, friends, include it on your blog etc.
I've found that by placing it in my Twitter bio link section, I've gained a lot of Snapchat adds. Perfect for when it comes to promoting products, engaging with people etc as I have a large audience.
If you've been living under a rock recently, you might not have heard about Snapchat's new feature.
Just kidding, they didn't really make much of a fuss about it.
Recently, Snapchat added the ability to recommend accounts worth following with the new suggest feature.
Usually you'd have to manually find the person's exact Snapchat handle and send it to your friends manually, but you don't need to worry about that anymore. This new feature allows you to suggest accounts to your friends with ease.
On the stories list, tap and hold a user's name to reveal a blue arrow. Once clicked, you will be able to send the account to your followers as a recommendation. They'll then receive the recommendation via private chat allowing people to add them. It should look something like the below.
So there you go, applying these simple tips to your Snapchat marketing strategy will definitely help you grow your account.

Facebook marketing is not something one can learn overnight. However, our need to establish a good online presence keeps on advancing in a steady pace.
To face and handle the biggest social media platform online which has 1.23 billion active users everyday, you need to get equipped with the tried and tested strategies. The good news is that the learning curve is not really that steep at all! Set your worries aside, we prepared a short but sure shot guidelines of the best organic marketing strategies you can use.
In this world of advancing technologies have you ever asked yourself what things you have to offer online? What capabilities and qualities you have that can be unique when compared to other strategists? It is no other than your human touch.
What we mean by “human touch” is your sense of being alive and being alive simply means being up to date! Don’t just schedule your posts. Instead, try posting live photos or live videos. This will create a more connecting bond between you and your audience. This is indeed the simplest yet one of the most effective Facebook marketing today.
Just make sure you reply to your audience comments and feedback. Remember that anything fun will get attention, so make sure your responses will count and match the intensity of your posts. If it’s lively stay lively as much!
Facebook is based on interest, not INTENT.
People hang out and stay for hours on Facebook to chill and to socialize. So it is logical that marketers consider posting for the sake connecting and socializing online 80% of the time. Once you are on your tenured years you will realize that Facebook have an invisible unlike button, it is a click away.
Add value, add audience. It’s that simple.
Your content depends on recency. This means that freshness is not only a ranking factor attributed to Google. It is recommendable to stick with timeless content as it will be more useful for your audience over a longer period of time. The longer a post stays online the bigger the chance of getting more likes, shares and comments.
Looking into the other aspects we need to consider for Facebook marketing such as the algorithms this is still recommendable. This will allow your post to be distributed further so it will appear in the news feed longer than your competitors. We have listed some forms of evergreen content that are commonly used today.
Facebook edgerank checker announced that native videos stay as the strongest performer in the news feed. This led to their auto-playing feature for videos in the feed.
Here are some tips from neilpatel.com on how to get started on facebook videos.
Content will always be the king. This just means that at the end of the day, nothing beats content with a good quality. So instead of pulling all together inside a single basket, just make sure you put enough effort on your actual content.
You can go ahead and start with testing one or two of the Facebook marketing strategies mentioned above. Then the best thing to do next is to dig right into facebook and analyze the results and data that you will get.

Here at Storyteller Media we teach a class "How to Generate Real Estate Leads Using Social Media" and I usually hear the same few reasons why you as an agent are not using Social Media or are unsure of how to generate leads. I usually hear...

"I see the potential, but sure how to do it."
"Its difficult to calculate the ROI."

Below are 3 Effective Ways to Generate Leads w/Social Media ways that our clients are using and you can too!
Twitter Advanced Search
Are you using this FREE feature from Twitter?
It’s crazy because the majority of people I speak with have no idea what Twitter Advanced Search is or does. Ok so imagine you can you had a database of 305 million monthly active users that you could see what they are talking about, what their needs are or for example, need a realtor.
You can use Twitter search to find these people, using the following search phrase that will find tweets with the exact phrase I need a realtor.
Search: "I need a realtor”
You can also get specific by using Twitter Advanced Search to search for people who tweet from a specific location or by adding a city name to your search query.
My suggestion is to come up with 5-10 search phrases that you can use everyday in your local area to find potential home buyers or sellers. It should only take you a few minutes a day and can produce some amazing results!

Snapchat Geofilters are grossly underpriced and carry a potential for brand visibility and awareness. These filters can be set up using your time and location parameters. Here are a few things you need to know when creating, submitting and utilizing this relatively new feature.
Things to know:
Snapchat provides templates or you can hire a professional to create a filter for you.
What they can be used for:
• Community Events
• Company Gatherings
• Sporting Events
• Home Shows
• Wedding Shows
• State Fair
• Starting at $5 an hour, filters are determined by time of use and SQFT of the event you will run the filter at.
